CONTRIBUTIONS

To expand initiatives to support deserving students, the Gianluca Spina Association collaborates with POLIMI Graduate School of Management and POLI.design to offer financial contributions aimed at supporting the participation in specializing Masters in different fields.

Best Contribution

In collaboration with the Associazione Gianluca Spina ETS, POLIMI Graduate School of Management is offering three merit-based contributions of €3,000 each towards the tuition fee of the International Junior Specialising Masters.

These contributions are inspired by the Alumni Awards – an initiative that celebrates POLIMI GSoM Alumni for their outstanding achievements in various fields – and aim to give new students the opportunity to follow in the footsteps of past award winners.

BEST SUSTAINABLE IMPACT

1 CONTRIBUTION – English Language

INTERNATIONAL MASTERS IN SUSTAINABILITY MANAGEMENT aND CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSABILITY (IMSM)

Awareness of the deep interconnections between business, society, and the environment has led POLIMI GSoM to design two International Masters in Sustainability Management and Corporate Social Responsibility, aimed at equipping students with the skills to drive sustainable development and change across all levels of management:

  • International Master in Environmental Sustainability and Circular Economy
  • International Master in Sustainability Management and Corporate Social Responsibility

The candidate who intends to apply for the grant must submit an essay on the following topic “The term ‘sustainability’ is commonly heard in several fields and industries and it’s fundamental for companies to have talent and resources able to drive sustainability change. What does ‘achieving sustainable impact’ mean throughout the planning, design, and implementation of a product or service?”

INTERNATIONAL MASTER IN INNOVATION AND ENTREPRENEURSHIP (IMIE)

he International Master in Innovation and Entrepreneurship is a 12-month programme designed to provide students with the skills necessary for a successful managerial career in the entrepreneurial world, including leadership, decision-making, market development, sustainability, and cost-effective innovation management.

The programme also features practical learning activities such as seminars by international faculty, soft skills workshops, company presentations, project work in collaboration with businesses, company visits, and alumni talks.

The candidate who intends to apply for the grant must submit an essay on the following topic: “The Right To Fail: Key to Entrepreneurial Action?”

INTERNATIONAL MASTER IN DIGITAL INNOVATION & NEW BUSINESS DESIGN - (IMDT)

L’impatto delle tecnologie e delle innovazioni digitali sta trasformando in modo significativo le aziende, sia in termini di processi, sia in termini di operazioni e di modelli di business. L’International Master in Digital Innovation & New Business Design, della durata di 12 mesi e interamente tenuto in lingua inglese, consentirà ai partecipanti di sviluppare e di gestire progetti di innovazione digitale sia dal punto di vista strategico, imprenditoriale e organizzativo, sia dal punto di vista tecnologico.

Nello specifico, grazie alle capacità acquisite, saranno in grado di introdurre e/o gestire nuovi prodotti-servizi, innovazioni organizzative e modelli di business che sfruttano le tecnologie digitali (es. Intelligenza Artificiale e Machine Learning, Blockchain, Big Data e Analytics, Cloud Computing, Internet of Things, eCommerce, Comunicazione Mobile e Omnichannel, Digital Manufacturing e Industry 4.0) per generare vantaggi per le imprese.

Il candidato che intende presentare domanda per ottenere il contributo dovrà realizzare un essay sul seguente argomento: What does “Innovation” mean to you? Explain how you plan to use “Innovation” in the future to make an impact on the world.

PARTIAL EXEMPTIONS

In collaboration with the Association, POLI.design – the post-graduate Design school of Politecnico di Milano which supports and completes the curricular paths of the School of Design – has established three 25% partial exemptions named after Gianluca Spina to be applied on the tuition fee of specializing masters in Strategic Design, Premium Design Management and Fashion Tech.

SPECIALIZING MASTER IN STRATEGIC DESIGN

The Master in Strategic Design, developed by POLI.design, offers candidates specific skills and competences related to the topics of strategic planning and innovation and product-system design. The Master, in particular, aims to train experts and consultants able to play a design and management role in the product-system innovation process.

In collaboration with the Association, POLI.design has established a 25% partial exemption named after Gianluca Spina, to be applied on the master tuition fee.

The candidate who intends to apply to obtain the benefit must send the necessary documents within the deadlines set out in the annual call.

SPECIALIZING MASTER IN PREMIUM DESIGN MANAGEMENT

The Master in Premium Design Management, developed by POLI.design, is a training course dedicated to the luxury sector that allows candidates to acquire transversal skills in the field of business management and the creation of new Brand experience projects, as well as in the development and control of event and activity programs to support the marketing of a product and for the development of new company policies.

In collaboration with the Association, POLI.design has established a 25% partial exemption named after Gianluca Spina, to be applied on the master tuition fee.

The candidate who intends to apply to obtain the benefit must send the necessary documents within the deadlines set out in the annual call.

SPECIALIZING MASTER IN FASHION TECH - From active to interactive fashion, sportswear and lifestyle design

The Specializing Master in Fashion Tech – From active to interactive fashion, sportswear and lifestyle design, developed by POLI.design, trains designers capable of working in the world of sportswear, lifestyle, and performance apparel, combining aesthetics, functionality, and technological innovation.

The program explores topics such as artificial intelligence, circular economy, and blockchain applied to fashion, with a focus on sustainability, traceability, and the design of garments intended for regeneration.

Participants acquire skills in the design of active and interactive clothing, wearable accessories, and innovative materials integrated with wearable technologies.

In collaboration with the Association, POLI.design has established a 25% partial exemption named after Gianluca Spina, to be applied to the tuition fee for the master.

Candidates wishing to apply for this benefit must submit the required documents within the specified deadlines.
